IN SOLIDARITY WITH UKRAINIAN RESISTANCE: THREE YEARS THROUGH THE FULL-SCALE WAR

February 24, 2025, marks the beginning of the fourth year of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine. We see it as our duty to support the Ukrainian resistance on the frontlines and to express solidarity and respect for all those who have been—both directly and indirectly—affected by Russian imperial aggression in Ukraine (not only in the past three years).
According to a statement from ENSU (European Network for Solidarity with Ukraine), the international situation has changed dramatically over the past year:
“The pro-Ukrainian stance among the EU and NATO countries, so far contested openly only by Hungary, is beginning to change for the worse. It is becoming increasingly difficult to convince governments to introduce further sanctions on Russia and Belarus and to increase arms supplies to Ukraine, even when this is what its government and people most insist on.”

“The situation grows increasingly dire, with the toll of the war deepening both on the battlefield and within the fabric of Ukrainian society. So today we need your voices, your solidarity, and your actions to amplify our actions for justice and resistance. From 24 February we call on all our friends, partners and all anti-authoritarian groups in all parts of the world for a week of action! We encourage you to organise rallies, fundraisers, and public events that draw attention to the Ukrainian resistance struggle against Russian imperialism…”

Event program:
18:30 – Queer.War.Archive
An initiative focused on documenting and archiving the experiences of queer people on the frontlines.
19:30 – Radical Aid Force
A nonprofit organization partly based in Germany by a group of anarchists, providing supplies to front-line soldiers and evacuating civilians.
20:30 – Jan Martinovský
A Czech volunteer working with Koridor UA to support people in southern Ukraine affected by the Russian full-scale war.
There will be sweet and salty snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and Ukrainian music. Admission is voluntary and any proceeds will go to the speakers’ initiatives. Let’s take the opportunity to share this day together.

Help us raise the necessary funds for protective gear (gas masks, protective glasses, helmets, shields) and cover costly fines for protesters in Georgia, who have been facing daily police brutality for over a month now!
Since Thursday, November 29, spontaneous mass protests have been taking place in more than thirty cities across Georgia in response to elections that were rigged by the intervention of the Russian Federation, and Georgia’s withdrawal from EU accession negotiations.
On November 29, the Georgian Dream party, the winner of the rigged elections, halted all negotiations on EU accession until 2028.
The suspension of dialogue with the EU, along with the agenda of Georgian Dream — a party with ties to the Russian Federation — threatens Georgia’s hard-won and fragile independence. Georgia has everything at stake right now, and the political developments that follow will determine whether it becomes another puppet state of the Russian regime or retains its independence, culture, and self-governance.
Spontaneous protests involving hundreds of thousands of people across the country are being brutally repressed. Police are using water cannons mixed with chemical irritants, tear gas, and rubber bullets. In addition to the official police forces, unidentified, masked individuals armed with guns have appeared at protests.
These individuals, seemingly affiliated with the authorities, have intimidated and attacked protesters and journalists. The police brutality also includes widespread torture in detention, surveillance of protesters as they leave the demonstrations, and arbitrary arrests. So far, 500 people have been arrested, dozens face years in prison, and many others face crippling fines.
Protesters are demanding new, democratic elections and an end to the Russian-backed Georgian Dream government.
We are in close contact with activists on the ground in Tbilisi, the epicenter of the protests.
Help us raise much-needed funds for gas masks, goggles, and other protective gear for protesters who face increasing repression every day. In addition, the funds will be used to cover the heavy fines that protesters face for exercising their basic rights, such as the right to demonstrate, assemble, and express their opinions.

THANK YOU FOR ALL ACTS OF SOLIDARITY – A LOOK BACK AT THE BENEFIT EVENT “SYNTHESIZING SOLIDARITY
On November 2nd, a benefit event Synthesizing Solidarity took place at Petrohradská Kolektiv, organized together with the Resistance Support Club initiative.
The event featured lectures by the Ukrainian anti-authoritarian collective Solidarity Collectives, the Ukrainian student trade union Pryama Diia, and Nastia Luthetzka, who spoke about the realities of educating children in war-torn Ukraine. The evening’s music program was provided by musician Klára Wodehn, Jim Krutor and Toyota Vangelis. As part of the benefit, children fleeing the war in Ukraine were able to join one of our “Art Saturdays.” The Resistance Support Club also organized soldering workshops for both children and adults. The entire proceeds from the event were equally divided between our initiative and the Resistance Support Club, which supports leftist and anti-authoritarian defenders. Our share of the funds will go toward workshops and art therapy sessions, some of them we are planning in cooperation with OPU.
